ความสมส่วนของคนเรามักนิยมพูดถึงสัดส่วนของหญิงสาวไม่สูงเก้งก้างหรืออ้วนตุ๊ต๊ะสวยกำลังดี_ใช่เลย ธรรมชาติจะกำหนดความสมส่วนในการตำรงชีวิตของสิ่งนี้นเช่นนกมีปีกกว้างใหญ่ ปลาหัวใหญ่หางแบน ปูขายาวเป็นข้อๆเหมาะสำหรับเดินบนหาดทรายและท้องน้ำ ถ้าเป็นของใช้รถยนต์มีสี่ล้อขนาดคนนั่งพอดี พัดลมขนาดกว้างเท่าไหล่พอดีคน สัดส่วนที่พอดีกันของรูปทรงช่วยทำให้เกิดความพึงตาพึงใจหรือความงาม
